This page will serve as the main avenue for disseminating information to each of you. Please check here at least one time per week and visit your respective department link to the left. Also I encourage you to visit the links to other departments to get a well rounded perspective of course operations. In addition to departmental links I will post general information here listed under "Coursewide Information" that applies to everyone.
Coursewide Information
We are nearing the time when we will re-open our greens. From now until then it is impearative that we do everything in our power to ensure the course is in pristine shape.
With that in mind, when you are playing or working on the course remember the following:
- Please try to enter and exit the fairway at different places. Number 1 near the green is a great example of the damage caused by habitual cart traffic. If you do not know the areas where cart traffic is habitual, then begin to pay attention when you are on the course. Most areas are near tees, greens, and at the start of fairways. Avoid these areas, especially now.
- When you are approaching a tee box or green, do not park your cart with one side hanging in the grass. Leave all four wheels on the cart path.
- When working avoid typical "cut throughs". Examples are from the driving range tee to number 2 fairway or number 8 fairway to 11 cart path.
