Eric Hammond
General Manager

Eric came to The Providence Club in September of 2010 and brings over ten years of industry experience. Eric received his bachelors degree from The University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Clayton State University.

Eric is married to his wife, Jennifer, and they have one child, Jackson and one on the way!

Dave Ayers
Head Golf Professinal

Dave Ayers, a member of the PGA of America, brings more than thirty-five years of experience to the Pro Shop
operation at The Providence Club. After spending thirty years at Mystery Valley in Stone Mountain, he came to Providence as the PGA teaching professional . Several years later he became the head professional. He enjoys providing a variety of activities for golfers of all interests and abilities including seniors, juniors, men and women.
His philosophy is to evaluate the skills and abilities of the student, set goals, and work on the fundamentals necessary to achieve these goals.

As a past member of the Georgia Junior Golf Foundation board of Directors,  he has been recognized by local and national organizations for his dedication to junior golf. Dave provides friendly, professional Pro Shop service and constantly works with the greens Superintendent. The optimal degree of playing conditions is his top priority.
